Title: 8 week update
Post by: bkeers on November 19, 2013, 08:14:02 PM
Just got thru with my 8 week follow up w/ dr keggi. He says everything looks great and I agree.
Pt is progressing well. Doing sit stands, lunges, leg lifts front and side with 4 lbs 30 reps (5 next week)
& side steps with bands. Range of motion well beyond pre surgery. I am able to lay on back w/ hands behind my knee and easily have my shoulders/head flat on the ground, I could never do this prior to surgery. Guess is about 115 degrees.
Able to tie my own shoes for a couple of weeks now. Also walking a little over a mile a day w/ 10 minutes of biking thrown in. I'm going to add in the stepper this week and slowly progress that.
Can ya tell I'm a little excited. Must… be… patient.

It's great to be excited. You're right though - patience, which is the hardest thing is the key especially before you hit 6 months.
