Title: 4 year check up and another power lifting competition
Post by: Buster on January 19, 2014, 02:42:29 PM
Had my 4 year check up and the doc said everything looked good.  Yesterday I competed at the USAPL Wisconsin Open.  Lifted raw with a 360 squat, 235 bench and 420 dead lift weighing 196.  Feel fine today, no different than any other.

Thank you so much for sharing, Buster! I will be four years this June and have never felt better!!
Please keep us updated. Often we only get to hear about the problems. Congrats on the power lifting, too!! Awesome!

Thanks Danny!  Not really that strong, just like to lift.  I just did another meet Saturday.  353 Squat and 425 Deadlift.  www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJBbiKefKxA&feature=youtu.be

a few years ago i used to be able to dead 200kg but thanks to shoulder injury my bench has never been over 130kg usually more like 100-110. And due to having legs that are already 27'' and that grow just from looking at a squat rack ive only ever done really light really explosive jump squats but those figures are good man!! Glad your enjoying life and doing what you love again.
