This week marks two years on my resurfacings. I started mountain biking on flat canal trails after six months then graduated to real trails two months later. For 2014 I've logged 1125 miles and 90K Ft Climbing mostly on single track trails. Hoping to hit 100K ft by end of 2014.
In 2014 I rode two MTB races and am planning to run the whole series in 2015 (Cat 3/ Over 50). I originally thought I would ride the MTB to get in shape for the dirt bike but now I find myself enjoying the MTB rides as much or more than the dirt biking. Completely different type of work outs although similar skills in use.
Excellent! I will be a bilat in the next 6 months so always good to hear from current bilats ;)
That's fantastic! Thank you, Gino. Sounds like you've been putting them to good use.
Congrats

These are my first samples as is protocol for Dr. Gross.
So, I reached my 2014 climbing goal of 100Kft on my MTB which took me 98 rides, 1,285mi, and 157hrs to complete in 2014, woo hoo!
I also rode my Yamaha WR250F off road 24 times and 750 miles on some rough single track!
Will try to match it in 2015!
Happy New Year,
G_T
Sweet!! It's great to hear from bilats as I'm about to join your ranks! ;)
