Hello
I'm here to share my hip resurfacing story since today marks my three-month anniversary. I consulted with Dr. Pritchett for several weeks via email. Once he told me that I'd be a good candidate, I flew to Seattle, had my hip done, and returned a week later. I had excellent PT at ATI. Here is my story:
June 30 Hip Resurfacing Surgery
July 13 Begin Physical Therapy
August 24 I leave my cane behind
Since then, I've ridden my exercise bike and outdoor bike between 8-12 miles each time. I've experience normal soreness, but nothing extraneous. My experience was great: spinal block, suturing that dissolved within two weeks, a great implant, etc. I highly recommend researching ahead of time and gathering proper information to be highly educated on the procedure. My initial knowledge of Dr. Pritchett came through this website.
Any questions, please feel free to email me at eggoblue97@gmail.com for my personal experience.
