Title: Driving a 6 speed manual car after surgery? Minor surgeries? TESTOPEL??
Post by: badbone on January 01, 2016, 11:45:34 AM
Happy New Year to everyone.
Surgery is scheduled for March!

A few questions.

1) how soon  til you can drive a manual car (clutch with operated hip)?

2) minor surgeries. With an implant I know that anytime you have dental work (or minor surgeries) you will need to be on an antibiotic as a precaution. I am on testopel and get implanted every 4 months. Is anyone on testopel ? If so what precautions if any do you take the day of implantation to avoid any risk of infection ?

Thank you

It was six weeks before I was able to drive our manual comfortably and it was my clutch leg that was resurfaced. However it did start to ache a little so I would be careful of any long journeys

I was six weeks as well, after bilat surgery.

I could have driven sooner but between my doctor and spouse I wasn't going to try it  ;)
