Good evening everyone I am a newbie 50 year old ice
hockey official limping through another season. I'm glad it's almost over I am looking for information or any feedback about Dr Philip Schmitt Detroit medical center Huron Valley. I live in michigan and he would seem like a logical candidate do the surgery he's performed over 3000 or maybe even close to 4000 HRAs but I don't see a lot of information on him I did a consultation with him in June 2015. I'm still reluctant. however due to insurance and out of pocket expenses this is really seems like my only logical choice in Michigan because I think he has done more than anybody in Michigan my insurance company would approve it my first choice would be dr. Edwin Su out of New York but my insurance company won't work with me -imagine that - anyway anybody have any thoughts or any experience with dr. Phillip Schmitt??

He did my surgery, he is a great surgeon. If you search for him on this site you will see other posts from those who have also had him as a surgeon. My scar is minimal and my healing process was as expected compared to other people's experiences. I'm so lucky he is local and would only provide positive feedback about him and his skills.
