I had an appointment with Dr. Vail at UCSF yesterday and I really liked him. He has given me the choice of THR or HR because of an anatomy problem he said I would have perfect anatomy with THR but would still have turn out of the left foot and length issues. I also posted on the length column but would like to know anyone who has seen Dr. Vail or had surgery by him. He is really leaving the choice up to me.

Hi Vicky, thanks I will email you. I really have a lot of confidence in Dr. Vail its just I wasnt expecting him to give me a choice. Basically perfect anatomy with THR or pretty much what I have now without the pain with HR. Im going to schedule my surgery for October so I have time to decide. Any help would be much appreciated. I live in Tracy.
