Hi All,
I'm considering buying a cold therapy machine for my upcoming surgery (one month from now, yikes!). I've never seen such a device, let alone used one. I have a few questions:
1) Which device or configuration is most portable? I may be spending 10-11 hours in the car 3-4 days post-op. I do have an AC adapter for my car, but not sure if it'll handle a cooler.
2) Which pad works best for the hip? I read somewhere that Dr. Gross recommends the shoulder pad for Breg coolers.
3) Where is the best (i.e., cheapest) place to buy one? Anybody have one they want to sell?
Any other insight regarding ice machines and their use will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Look on eBay. That's where I found mine.

You need the hip attachment.
