Title: Headaches in the morning
Post by: ginnie on July 28, 2008, 12:37:08 PM
I too wake up every morning with a headache and am not taking ambien. Its one of 2 things I think. 1. the coumadin 2. muscle tightness from walking with crutches. I notice when I sit upright and streach some it goes away, also if I get up and walk some with my crutches I feel better. not sure but it is very annoying !

Hi Ginnie

Welcome to HIp Talk.  I gave you your own topic because I imagine a lot of people have headaches.  It's a good topic.

I think I am correct that you are only 6 or 7 days post op.  You whole body including your back is going thru recovery.

I am 2 1/2 years post op and get headaches often from my back and neck.

I hope your recovery continues to go well for you.  I wasn't able to sleep until I stopped my heprin shots.  THat seemed to bother me for about 14 days.  It might also just have taken my body that much time to clear all the anathesia, etc.

Good Luck.

Pat
