Title: Hip Flexor/Groin Pain
Post by: NCH on June 12, 2017, 02:37:39 PM
I had my hip resurfaced 4 years ago and had a period of time where all was fine.  About 1.5 years ago I started experiencing pain in my hip flexor region and groin.  Have others experienced this and if so, what did you do to alleviate the pain?  Right now I'm commencing a period of intense rest for 6 weeks.  Been told that what I have appears to be intense tendinitis and the solution is rest or surgery to release the tendon from the bone (that could weaken the leg I presume) or surgery to push the implant further into the femur to hopefully find some relief with whatever irritation is happening or take out the resurfacing device and do a traditional hip resurfacing.  Others?
