Title: Cemented or Uncemented for AVN
Post by: avilax777 on June 20, 2018, 12:52:38 AM
I have talked to a few top doctors and one said cemented is better for avn because of limited bone growth and another said uncemented.  I was wondering if anyone that has AVN can tell me what they got and how its holding up.

I have two ski students, a man and a woman, who were involved in a car accident and ended up with AVN. At my suggestion they both had Dr Gross resurface their hips. They are two and three years out now, and both are back to skiing hard, heli-skiing, cross country skiing, and hard core biking. They both seem to be doing great.
