hello all! I had my r-BHR done by Dr. Veejay Bose, in India, in December 2005. After 13 years I am now experiencing a lot of pain including groin pain, my right leg will collapse under weight, and I have several areas of my hip that are tender to the touch. Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms, and if so, what was the cause of the problem? Thanks!
I know that you have probably read this advice on this web site before, but I would strongly suggest getting x-rays sent to a couple of the top experts like Dr Gross, Dr Pritchett, or Dr DeSmet who will take a look at them and get back to you without any charges. If you still have his contact info, I would suspect that Dr Bose might also be willing to take a look at your x-rays and offer advice. What you have going on sounds a little serious to be relying on non-medical advice from those of us on this site. It might be nothing major, but the only way to know that is to get an expert opinion based on at least x-rays, and possibly an MRI if the x-rays are inconclusive.
I hope it is nothing serious that will not resolve itself, but you do need an expert opinion at this point.
John offers good advice. It is always good to get the opinions of several of the top surgeons about what they think is going on. Then you have some reliable information to determine what you want to do.
