Title: Loosening up on a bike 4weeks in Bi-lat..
Post by: Rich jones on December 22, 2018, 03:37:38 AM
Hello Hippies!

I’m four weeks this Tuesday after a Mr Mc Minn Bi lat, I’m doing good with and with out crutches in the small doses, I’m feeling I would like to loosen up a little on a static bike with no resistance is this ok to do? What hight to put the seat?

No problems getting on the stationary bike at this point. Keep resistance low (nearish zero) and seat nice and high. Enjoy! I'd suggest starting in very small doses but I'm sure you already know that...

That was the first exercise I was put on when I started outpatient physical therapy on both hips.

I just put the seat on what was comfortable and stayed on for as long as I was comfortable. My goal was just movement, not anything else. Make sure you get on and off comfortably.

No resistance is the way to go.
