Title: Bilat with Dr. Gross
Post by: Philbrd on February 03, 2019, 02:38:39 PM
Hi All,
Just got back home to NH after Bilateral surgery with Dr. Gross on 1/28 and 1/30.  As many have mentioned, the experience with Dr. Gross and his staff was amazing.  I also found this group to be instrumental in me choosing the hip resurfacing path.   A shout-out to Pat and others who provided invaluable information on this site.  Thanks so much- I highly doubt that I would have gone this route without the experiences posted on this forum.

I feel I am doing quite well.  I am able to do the exercises and walking fairly easily with crutches.  Little tough to go from sitting to standing but getting better every day.   I am looking forward to progression over the next 6 weeks to get through this first phase of recovery.

I know there is a lot of info on this site from patients that are rehabbing from surgery with Dr. Gross - if anyone has a plan they used to complement his plan, please drop me a PM.  Thanks in advance!

Dan  Congratulations on the new hips.  I hope your recovery goes smoothly and you will have a great pain free summer.

I look forward to your updates and wish you the very best.
