I had a personal email from someone inquiring about returning to sexual relations. The lady was experiencing pain in the buttocks/hip area during sex.
Has anyone else had the same problem?
My guess about the pain is that the lady is moving muscles that have not been use to moving very much. Perhaps, there is more pressure on the healing hip to cause the pain.
I would always suggest that you ask your doctor questions when you experience pain. Many of the doctors even has sections on their websites about sex. They are real people and understand Surface Hippies are real people that are begining to feel pretty good about their lives and activities.
We had some big discussions about returning to sex when I was in Belgium recovering from my hip resurfacing. It is a question on most people's minds. We all decided to figure out what is easiest and go for it! Man on top, woman on top or other creative methods of having fun!
Good Luck.

I didn't have any issues like that. But I did wait quite awhile before getting real physical. The occupational therapist stated that I should take the "passive position" for awhile. I'm guessing it's probably a lot easier on the guys in the beginning than the girls.
Hi What do you mean by the passive position please.
