Title: 2 Year Anniversary
Post by: ArthriticHip on March 08, 2020, 07:58:24 PM
Hello fellow hippies. It's been a while since I've visited this forum. Happy to report that I now spend very little time thinking about my hip. Last week I had my 2 year checkup for a left hip resurfacing I had done with Dr. Peter Brookes of the Cleveland Clinic. X-Rays looked good. I wasn't expecting any problems as the hip has felt wonderful. No pain. Lot's of flexibility. Very stable. I've resumed a normal life being as active as I want to be. I'm back to playing golf, and have been able to run with my son as he trains for his track season.  I am very happy with my decision and am grateful for the skill of my surgeon that made the successful surgery possible. Unless I experience problems my next visit won't be for another 3 years for my 5 year checkup.
