Title: Website Status
Post by: jimbone on August 10, 2022, 09:02:36 AM
Is it my connection or has the forum been silent the past month of so?  Noticed only one new posting from someone with a link to videos that looked like it shouldn't be touched with a 10' stick.  The site has been hacked before IIRC- anyone know the current status?

Hi   I didn't think it was hacked.  I am approving a few people each day.  I have seen a few posts.  It is often quiet in the summer.
I will go look further and  check things out.

I banned the guy that posted the rather porn type post.  I usually see what is posted, but that slipped by me.  If anyone sees something bad or strange, just email me or message me and I will remove it.

Pat -

Thank you so much for continuing to maintain the website! It's been almost 12 years since my resurfacing with Dr. Brooks, and all is well. But I still check the SurfaceHippy website several times a week to see what's new and occasionally respond to posts.

My best wishes and regards to you.

Mike

Pat,

Didn't mean to be alarmist, it just seemed overly quiet.  Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.

Jimbone   No problem.  Always nice to have more eyes watching things.   I don't spend quite as much time on the discussion forum as I use to.  I do watch it pretty closely.  Since I had my hip resurfacing in 2006, many things have changed, and it is nice to have more current input for new members interested in hip resurfacing.  But I approve members almost everyday.
Thanks again to everyone for participating, sharing information and answering questions.
