Title: 3 year update, 66 year old Long Distance Runner
Post by: autoazure on October 16, 2022, 03:58:00 PM
It is now 3 years since Prof Meek (Glasgow) resurfaced my right hip on the NHS (cost me nothing). I completed the Loch Rannoch Half Marathon today ( Perthshire, Scotland) in a time of 1.54! I took it very easy and could have pushed it even more. I cannot emphasise enough and indeed even thank my Surgeon and the NHS staff in Scotland, regarding how much they have meant to my life! As a long time runner; I am so thankful to be able to continue with my passion!

Congratulations! I’m grateful to jog a 5 K without any discomfort.  Skiing and hunting are my passions.
