Title: Activity Level
Post by: Scott H on September 07, 2008, 05:39:30 PM
Having just had a resurfacing job done Aug 6th and having high expectations that my "bionic hip" will allow me to perform all previous activities in a far superior form than before......just kidding!!!

In all seriousness though, has anyone been involved in martial arts such as Aikido, and now after resurfacing, gotten back into their art? If so to what level have you been able to participate?

Thanks,

Scott.

Hi

Check out this page for links to Scott Kopperud and James Roxburgh's Stories.

A lot of people have returned to the martial arts.

Good Luck.  It takes time to recover.  Don't push too hard for a few more months.

Also Linda's story is on there, you can see her kneeling with her award she won post op.  She teaches and still competes and is a bilateral resurfacer that went to Dr. Bose.
