I had my left hip resurfaced in 2011 by Dr. Gross. That hip has been super successful! The same problem that caused my left hip to fail 10 years ago, is now causing me significant pain on the other side.
The last time my hip was going bad I waited until the very last minute - I was worried about the surgery and scared. I didn’t do it until it hurt so badly, I could no longer tolerate the pain.
this time it is very uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad. No way I am waiting as long as last time - I’m fixing it now!
Next month I will be dual bionic!
Congrats! My second hip has been just fine for almost thirteen years now (along with the first).

Well, I finished the surgery! I had my procedure done Wednesday flew home back to California from South Carolina on Friday and today is Saturday I’m sitting in bed, icing the hip.
It’s still quite sore, but today is a lot better than the first two days.
