Hi

A number of people have had that proceedure.  If it works, it buys you time until you need your hip replaced.  It sounds like it did it's job for you.

This is a small discussion group that I started, but if you want to talk to people with similar proceedure, you might want to join the http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/surfacehippy/ (http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/surfacehippy/)  Yahoo Surface Hippy Group of over 6000+ people. It is very active. THere are over 100 emails a day.  It is normally good to set up a special folder on your computer to receive all the emails, or choose their condensed version sent out once a day or just read the emails up on the Yahoo website.

How old are you now?  What area of the country do you live in?  Have you talked with any hip resurfacing surgeons yet?
