From what I've read, I see Mountain Goat, Imgetinold, Mslendizon, HippyLiz, and myself having January Hippy Surgery.  Who else is out there starting the New Year off with a New Hip?

Yep, two weeks now. I have my pre-op physical tomorrow. Bright and early 5:40am check-in on the 23rd!

Getting ready to get my L hip resurfaced by Dr Gross on 1/11/12 if pre-op exam goes as planned. Just hanging in the hotel counting the hours!

I just had my LHR done on 12/27 with Dr. Pritchett and I am back to work today, so I am starting 2012 with a new hip.  So far so good and I am also a woman.  Davina

Be sure and take it as easy as possible as you start back to work. Well - as easy as you can. Be sure to ice, rest, and elevate. Especially after PT sessions!

All the best to you and all the new hippies as you make your way through your recovery journey in 2012.
