Any Hippy Scooterists or Mods?
« on: September 04, 2012, 11:50:05 AM »
I have two vintage Lambrettas and a Vespa. Any other Scooter Boys, Girls or Mods out there?

Does a 1971 Honda Trail 90 count?

The Honda is parked next to my wife's pink Vespa in the garage...does that count for anything?

Not quite a classic, i have a 1985 PX150e, that is a horrid bright lime green.  My kids named it the Green Meanie.
Plan on installing a Sito exhaust and carb kit this winter, they are sitting new in the boxes 3 years now.
Keep it parked in the garage next to my wife's 2001 Italjet Torpedo and my old chopped hog, which started life as
Harley Softtail.  The Green Meanie is great for riling up the neighborhood, distinctive 2 stroke whine, love tooling around my town on in.  The chopper is for longer travel, about 150K miles on the frame.  Had it when i lived in Europe for ten years, rode that bike everywhere, and she is still plugging away today.

I love Quadrophenia and knew a few mods back in the 80s, does that count?

PX 150 definately counts. I have a PX 200 with a Mallossi 210 and JL pipe upjetted carb. About to strip it and put a T5 top gear in it to give it better continuous pull at the top end.
Sorry Tin liking Quadraphenia and knowing a few mods does not count.
I have watched The Sound of Music and know some Gay guys but that doesn't make me Gay. (Well I don't think it does)
