Not bad hoyt - make sure your home is laid out correctly; chargers on stable surfaces that you can reach easily, frequently used edibles at the top and front of the refrigerator, DVDs and remotes where they won't fall to the floor.

You're going to do great - keep the walking and exercise going, nap as much as possible, schedule at least one if possible (I'm not a napper, but I had one scheduled at 1 pm every day), elevate and ice that leg as much as you can.

Ice, Ice, Ice, and more ice.  It will be your best friend.

I found that my laptop, and Netflix streaming, were my second best friends.  Of course there are some gamers who preferred their Xbox or PS3's.

Once the first two weeks are past, it gets easier and easier.  Congrats, and good luck.

Ice, more ice, old PS3 games that you haven't played in awhile, or maybe the SNES, more ice, yogurt to get your digestive system back to normal, acetominophen nearby, more ice, rest, more ice, rest, maybe some light exercises depending on the doc, more ice...  Good job, enjoy the "honeymoon".
