Time for Number 2
« on: March 10, 2014, 05:46:19 AM »
I have bitten the bullet and booked in for a consultation for my left hip. I knew it was coming and recently feel like my hip has fell off the cliff so to speak. Been getting steadily worse and had to give up cycling to work and now suddenly got much worse.

I have a provisional date of 13th May for surgery. Just want it done now.

Well, sorry that you need to have it, but you're going top shelf, as you know.

Hoping for a conventional rehab for you :-)  May 13th is not so far away.

sometimes it is some kind of funny for me, German, to get the meaning.: being on a top shelf, for us, means to be unreachable. I hope that is not the case with you.
you will do fine! I am sure
..... I will find out

Even though things didn't work out quite the way I had hoped, I am still glad I made the decision for resurfacing-happy to be a bilateral.  I walk without pain today and if it wasn't for this strange infection that hit me, things would be perfect!

Good luck!

Well, you know the drill now... Just relax, is not too far away, and good luck with the recovery.
