Severe groin pain
« on: March 10, 2018, 04:09:51 PM »
Hey everyone ,

Has I’m at the 10 month post op . About 2 weeks ago I started getting a little groin pain . Now it’s so tight it feels like before surgery. Trying to lift my leg up hurts, getting in the car to lift leg I need to use my hand to assist . It’s my left hip , so reaching down to my left to put my shoes on is near impossible. I’m going to see my surgeon in two weeks . Any ideas what to do to relieve this pain . Up until this point it was perfect , I could exercise, lift leg to chest . Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Coby

Hey Larry,

A/prof Bill Walter . It’s like impingement. I have better ROM but it still hurts if I try to step up two steps not just one . Or being in a kneeling position and lifting my left leg forward to get up . Any ideas ? Would a steroid injection help. More stretching? Or just more time .
