Hip resurfacing noise
« on: October 29, 2008, 07:35:40 PM »
I am not sure I am in the right area of this website, but will give it a try. I had a hip resurface done 15 months ago and now its making noise when I squat or climb stairs. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I have had the same condition on and off since May.  I had a BHR a year ago October.  I also have groin pain.  I'm searching for help.  I do not believe for a second that dehydration is the cause.

Hi, BIG BILL here... I had the Cormet and have not experienced any squeaking or noise ...just a muscle "slip" sensation a few times in certain stretching positions. It will sure make your eyes open wide  :o ...Pat has a video of someone and their hip making the squeaking sound here on the website. If you have pain.... along with noise....I would ask the pros. Pat has many top surgeons listed here also . Best of luck !
