I am writing to say that I would also like to share my story. I am a female, double BHR Birmingham Hip Resurfacing Device with Dr. Brooks at Cleveland Clinic. I had 5 year and 10 year post-surgical follow ups/x-rays at Cleveland Clinic (surgeries were 11/2013 and 03/2014). I had blood work at the 10 year mark as part of the follow up. As I’m writing to you today, all is perfect.

I want to share this for females and on behalf of females. I am sad that this is in general not being done — but sooo many women would qualify for the BHR Birmingham Hip Resurfacing and it is life changing.
