Well things seem to be going pretty well.  I still have to take pain meds but it is under control for the most part.  Sometimes when I go to a store and they have a rug at the entrance it flips up from my walker and I will feel a pain it isn't excruciating but it always makes me a little worried that I'm not doing things right and that maybe something isn't quite right.  Is this normal?  I'm supposed to be 50% weight bearing but knowing what that is is sometimes hard.  I haven't crossed over midline like they told me but sometimes I worry about it.

I know that the only way to know for sure is to have it x-rayed.  My follow-up is September 22 is this something to worry about based on other people's experience.

Secondly my surgeon gave me a prescription for outpatient PT.  I thought I wasn't supposed to start this until after my three week apt. but now I'm second guessing myself.  Did I mess up.  I did call the Dr. office but they haven't gotten back to me yet.  Thanks in advance.

Yup:) It's your brain's way of looking out for your hip. When we go through this, most of us have never had any similar experience. We have no basis for evaluating anything we are experiencing. Panic was never far from my mind during the first few weeks of my recovery. The last thing we want to do is mess things up and have to go through any of it again. Your sense of worry will keep you mindful of The Precautions and guide you safely back to normal :)

Glad to hear you are up and about!
