Hip pain solved or worse now?

I have posted about pain in my hip when i exercise.  So I stopped exercising.  Now im getting pain doing normal stuff on my right hip that I had resurfaced 9/11/07.  So I got an X-ray and the doc said that there is no evidence of fracture or discloaction.  So I am still having pain and went and got the x-ray results myself.  Now in the findings, it says that
"There is a right hip hemiprosthesis in place.  There is a Benign Appearing heterotopic calcification around the right hip.  There is no evidence of hardware failure.  Alignment is anatomical.  The left hip joint space is maintained.  There is no evidence of fracture of dislocation."
So I searched and didn't find to many things talking about heterotop calcification.  Things I have read include that maybe why I am having pain still.  Any suggestions?  Should I worry about it being maybe cancerous?  you notice in the post it says appearing benign?

Without seeing your xray and examining your hip it is difficult to know how significant the heterotopic bone (bone in the wrong place) is with respect to your pain or range of movement. Beside getting the xray reviewed by a surgeon +/- a physiotherapist who has examined your hip , a CT/ MRI/ bone scan and some blood tests (ESR, CRP, Alk phos ) may help to clarify the diagnosis and treatment of your pain. It is not cancerous. It is ingrowth of what appears to be bone in the soft tissue surrounding the hip arthroplasty. NSAIDS (anti-inflammatories) and physiotherapy may help the pain. Sometimes it is treated with radiation. Your surgeon should be able to help you sort this out.
