I really can not believe the progress that I have made in 17 days.

NO pain meds.
Working full time.
Driving to work.
Walking with a cane only.
NO bruising.
NO swelling.
I've increased my PT exercises to two sets of everything at 15 reps.
This week I'm allowed to start stationery biking - can't wait.

This operation is just amazing. NO hip pain what-so-ever. Slight groin pain after pt - but that is it!

I AM LOVING LIFE.

Dr. Rector isn't so keen on mountain biking in general. I asked him and he just looked at me and said "agressive mountain biking?"  - "I don't think ANYONE should be agressive mountain biking". So I said, "Not aggressive, careful!" and he said "OK - how about 6 months." I can road bike soon - he is just worried about any falls so he wants me to wait 6 months. Which means this season is pretty much over for me. 6 months from July would put me in January and it's way too cold and snowy here then!

Ain't pain free life grand? :) I'm glad to hear you're doing so well!

CeeJay15

It is truly wonderful!!

The only decision I regret is not having this done sooner!!
