ALL PAID OFF !!!

Big Bill here ....Had my Cormet anterior resufacing done July 9th 2008 in Houston , Texas at Memorial Hermann by Dr Kreuzer. The toal cost was a little over 45k with my insurance only leaving me with a little under 4k. With a generous payment plan through Memorial Hermann, I was able to just complete my FINAL PAYMENT today 8) !!! I now TOTALLY own my Cormet device :o . Still working out , doing great and enjoying my ALL PAID OFF HIP !!!! Hope everyone has a positive experience as I have. Wishing you all a wonderful Holiday Season !!!

It would be terrible for you to miss a payment and have your Cormet repossessed by the hospital ;D

Do any Midland Orthopedic patients have any tips, tricks or shortcuts to get Blue Cross to pay for some of the Midland Orthopedics charges that Blue Cross does not cover? We are very grateful and feel fortunate to have had Dr. Gross perform surgery on Carrie, we just want to be sure to cross all our T's with Blue Cross. Tom

Dr. Gross, Lee, Nancy, et al are the best. I had my right hip done on Memorial Day. They accepted whatever was paid by my insurance, I was charged nothing else. And they were not overpaid.

Sorry, maybe I should not have answered your question. I do NOT have Blue Cross. What I was saying was that my helath insurance took care of all charges from Dr. Gross and the hospital and I did not get another bill from Dr. Gross. They did not pay what he billed, no insurance companies do.
I did not mean that some insurance companies overpay. I meant that my insurance company discounted the bills more than I thought they would have.
