How fast did your hip "go"?

Yeah, thread creep again, sorry. The NW hippy gathering would include you, Matt, Luann, and me. Actually there are few more here, but not a lot. Pritchett is close to 3000 HRs and he did mention that about half are from out of town, I would think that would include folks from the NW. Where are all these people getting resurfacings? I think there are lots of folks that are just not into talking about it or something. Who knows.

I went from very physically active to "crippled" in 2 to 3 years. Bike riding, backpacking, hiking, an occasional 5 or so mile run with friends. Looking back, I don't think I realized my hips were going that bad until about 2 years ago. I went to a local ortho in August 2009. That visit was for my left hip, the right was not hurting yet. Got the bad news from him. In about two months the right one started hurting. By June of 2010 I was really hurting bad. REAL BAD. Awful ROM. Had both done in January 2011. Life has been amazing ever since.

The hips can go THAT fast. I couldn't believe it. Didn't know what was going on.

You will really like Dr. Gross and crew. I wish I was going there to see them.
