I had my one year check up on my left resurfaced hip yesterday (and the right at three years). All good.

I asked my surgeon about the latest results on longevity of resurfaced hips. He said Dr McMinn, the pioneer of the BHR has released his 13 year figures. His retention rate is an overall 97%. Made me feel very optimistic.

That is great news.  I am wondering how the 97% is doing?  Are they as well as they were 10 years ago.
