How to post a photo by Chuck! Reposted by Pat because it is good information!

You'll need a picture sharing site unless you own your own domain.

You will use the insert image button.  You will need a picture sharing site,  Photobucket.com is one such site, it's free and easy to use.

Once you have your picture up on the site you will paste in the link to the picture from photobucket (or any site you choose) you have uploaded in between the image tags you get when you click the insert image button, that button is above the first smiley face and below the bold button.

Hi Pat, did you change noob permissions to deny posting a link in threads?  i think i posted a pic last week successfully but then was denied today .  couldn't find it in the rules either.  thanks!

New members have to make 5 posts before they can post links.  That is to cut down on spam, ads and porn.  I am sorry about that, but there was some terrible stuff posted here in the past.  I try to keep the group about hip resurfacing and not porn ;D
