Just wondered if anyone knew what happened to lopsided? He used to be really active on here and ive not seen him post for ages. Is he one of the growing number of sucsess story's that leaves the forum once they feel they have recovered fully?

He decided to start his own forum but didn't get a lot of takers so it has been inactive for a while. He no longer participates on this forum. Not sure of details but I suspect he misses us. He and Carla - T. Flip stay in touch and give each other lots of support.

I often wondered what happenned to Lop myself. Interesting to hear that. Shame he left this forum - i miss his candid responses.
What about Rob (rbt2011) - do you know how he's getting on?

Rob is doing fine. I'm still in contact with him. He just found spending too much time on here made him over analyse things.

Hey Kiwi and Danny.  Nice to know I've been missed  :). Thanks for thinking of me.

I'm doing well.  For whatever reason my little pea brain can't seem to stop running wild when I get on here so I've tried to stop thinking about the hip altoghther and just focus on other things.  For me, too much time on here makes me over think things and then things get ugly for me mentally.

But I still read most posts and you guys are still in my thoughts and prayers.  Great to see all the positive things that have been on here lately.

Thanks again for the shoutout, I really appreciate it.

I wondered the same about Lop.  He had some great posts.  Usually short and to the point, mmmh, a bit like my surgeon.

Rob - I can understand your point about spending too much time here and getting overwhelmed and simply thinking too much about the whole deal.  Constant rumination is not good for the head.  I think I was like that for awhile and then maybe I broke through.  I feel like I've totally embraced HR.  It's become a bit of a hobby for me.  I suppose if something went awry with one of my hips, I could see maybe not wanting to think about it too much.

Good to hear you're doing well.

Rob - Great to hear from you & really good news that you're doing fine. I can understand the micro management of hip issues. I was similar when early post op as I had too much time on my hands. Now I'm back at work I struggle for time on here - particularly now that my hip is allowing me to do other activities in my spare time.
Stay in touch from time to time to let us know how you're progressing... but no pressure mate, just glad you're doing well.
