I had a bad scare recently, just the other day I fell down about 15 stair steps, I fell straight on my operated hip and bounced down all but a few steps on my hip all awhile attempting to stop myself.

My hip was fine, I did injure my left elbow as my whole arm got caught behind me and twisted.

The moral of this story, your hip 4 years post-op is pretty strong, I had one other bad fall on ice, I believe it was the November post-op my August surgery in 2008.

Hello Chuck!

Sorry to hear of your mishap...was the distraction a blonde, brunette or redhead?

Sorry about the fall.  Stop thinking about a new boat and watch the steps!

Hope everything heals quickly.

Wow, sorry about the fall.  That's taking the testing of the new hip a little too far.

Glad you're OK

Yeah, but thanks for taking the test for us.  :o  Good to hear that you're ok.  That must have been pretty freaky.
