You may want to go ahead and send your X-rays to the suggested docs.  I had several X-rays over the years and respected surgeons gave me different opinions.  Dr. Gross and Lee both took one look and said mild dysplasia which is the reason my hips gave out.  Their eyes may see something on the X-rays while you are waiting for the ultrasound.

Dee: yes I think you are right. I am going to start the process to obtain a digital copy of the Xrays and send them to a couple of well known docs.

Just wondered how you were getting on?
I have had ongoing pain and stiffness with my Right hip re-surfacing and wonder if this is because a larger implant has been used (I am a small boned female) and therefore aggrevating my muscles?
Hope you have made some progress.
