173 miles in a day!!!

I am 3 years nearly down the line after having my Birmingham hip and all i can say is WOW!!

I'n this time i have entered many running competitions 10k ,10 mile ,full marathon and completed all of them with ease@{except the marathon phew last 4 miles was a killer}

This Friday gone June 21st 2013 i completed a charity bike ride across the full lenth of Britain from Morcambe to Bridlington{war of the roses} 173 miles in one day, my hip is 100%

Thank you to my surgeon Dr Gopal to my friends and my family.

Dont be scared this operation has transformed my life good luck to anyone who needs it!!!

Well done Ian - quite a distance in one day.

I'm sure it was a really scenic cycle too from coast to coast and through some great countryside and villages.
