John Antoniou, Montreal, Qc

Hello,

I am looking for information/experience sharing, concerning Dr. John Antoniou, surgeon located in Montreal Quebec.
I will be setting an appointment with him in the next few days but I expect the waiting list to be quite long (probably months or more).

Before I do that, and to make sure I don't waste my time on the waiting list, I was wondering if anyone was seen by him in the last couple years.
I know he used to promote the DuPuy ASR device until it was withdrawn from the market.
Does anyone know the type of device he is now using?
I am at the planning stage right now so I am not in a rush and am only planning ahead.

Being from Quebec myself, I think this Doctor would be my choice since he seems well known, has made several researches on the topic, would be in a reasonable range for follow ups and would be fully covered by the provincial health care system. The last piece of the puzzle is to know which device he usually uses and to meet him so proper assessment is made to determine if I am a suitable candidate for resurfacing.

The device being one of the most important factor, along with the skills of the surgeon and the hips characteristics, I want to ensure a device with a long track record is what I'll get.

He used BHR, Adept and is now using Conserve Plus.
