Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.  Many of us are so blessed to have great hip resurfacings which allow us to have active, pain free lives.  Those waiting for a replacement, will soon be blessed with a new hip.

And a Blessed Thanksgiving to you also!  One of the many things I am thankful for is this site.  If it hadn't been for you setting this site up I would never have found Dr. Gross almost 5 years ago.  I travelled many miles to have my hip resurfaced but it was well worth it.  Thank You, Pat!

I second what Mari said- many thanks,  Pat, for this site.  It has helped me have a national perspective and I too am going to Dr Gross, but my surgery is actually coming up in 12 days (first one) and 14 days (second of bilateral) so getting some butterflies right about now!

Also it is very impressive how many people take time to post and answer posts on this Forum with wonderful information, so thanks all, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Thank you so much for this site and for all the support I have received over the past few months. I would not have known about hip resurfacing and that it was available less than a mile from my house if I had not stumbled upon your site. I do not believe I would have done as well as I have without the great advice and encouragement from all of my hippy friends.
