Hit a few balls on the range today 4 weeks post op on second hip.  The left hip is a little trickier than the right in my experience.  No hard swinging just kind of slapping them out there nice and easy.  Nice to see the ball flying again!  :)

Jerry, nice to hear you are doing good after second surgery. It will be interesting for me to see how my right hip surgery in 2 1/2 weeks on the 24th, compares to my left, which was my first 2 years ago. I don't golf but I know when I had to shovel snow in winter I would feel different twinges as that is my plant leg to throw the snow. So I understand what you mean about that. Continued good luck in your recovery. Curt

yes it does feel great.  Can not wait till next year after everything is fully healed and I can make a more aggressive swing at the ball without worry.

played first 18 hole round 5 weeks post op on second hip.  Rode a cart as course was hilly.  Still have that annoying power shortage but ended up with an 84.  Game needs some work!

played 18 today and shot 85.  Not a good score but when your drives are only going about 200 at most that is to be expected.  Hitting like an old man is getting a bit discouraging.

Great job Jerry, btw, I am always happy with an 85  LOL

Keep us updated, love hearing how fellow golfers make out after a HR.

walked the 18 holes this time which felt great.  Shot an 86 which was not so great.  Got to keep working at it.

several more rounds in the low 80s since last post.  Since returning to work about 3 weeks ago feeling stronger and more mobile.  Hopefully  this will translate into better scores!  Jerry

shot 78 today.  Feeling stronger helps the score!  :)
