Hippy Golf
7 wees post op - Just coming off my 4th round of the week.  Before surgery I was in the low 90's.  This week I played 3 of 4 rounds under 90!  It is truly amazing and joyfull to walk around the course and hit the ball with no pain at all.  Before surgery I would have been limping around for a week if I had played that much golf.  Thank you Dr. Gross and team for giving me back my life.  Still a ways to go before I fee 100% but being able to play golf with no pain has been such a blessing.    Hopefully this gives some perspective for some of you who have yet to have surgery and wondering what is possible while on the lynx.

Jake, I am envious, well done!

My surgeon advises gentle return at four months, so Sept for me, am just 18 days post op.

I have done some putting, and I think by four or five weeks will start chipping, very short stuff (it's my right hip done, so no real involvement of it in short chipping, very little turning). Will see how it goes.

I hope to have made sufficient progress at six week check up to get a nod for a slightly earlier return to playing ... We will see.
