Hello Everyone, I had a very successful BHR back in June 2013, and all is well with my right hip, and VERY glad to see others experiencing the same scenario.

This board has been my support for when I went thru the BHR, and continues to be a source of input going forward.

Please bear with me and I will get to the question towards the end. Within the past 3 months I have been diagnosed with tennis elbow in right arm, golfers elbow in left, and now my right index finger is having nerve damage issues from an accident back in 2010 where I lacerated my palm and damaged the median nerve, which has affected my index finger mostly, and slightly the long finger. The elbows I am dealing with and performing PT for it, so that is manageable, so far. The nerve damage is something completely new to me, and in doing research it looks like resolving nerve issues is very, very difficult. The index finger feels like it's twice the size, constant tingling, and at times a burning/stabbing sensation. It's 24 x 7 and starting to wear me down emotionally, so I have started to see a Orthopedic surgeon and Neurologist. I have been prescribed Gabapentin for the nerve issue, as both doctors feel that nothing can be done so they just want to prescribe pills to mask the pain IMO. I have been down this road before and will start to get 2nd opinions and continue to look for the root cause and what a resolution can be. I am not going to accept this prognosis until I feel I've done all the diligence I possibly can.

Now the question, I have been searching for a message board that I can subscribe to that focuses on Neuropathy, and even better Neuropathy of the hand. Similar to what SurfaceHippy does for BHR. I have found one named Healthboards.com, but maybe I am spoiled with Surfacehippy, as Healthboards.com looks to be too generic and covers A LOT of different medical areas.

As usual, any input is appreciated, ad god bless all.

Thanks in advance,

Bob
