17 Year Anniversary of My BHR with Dr. De Smet in 2006

Today is my 17th anniversary of my BHR with Dr. De Smet in 2006.  I am 78 now and never had a problem with my BHR or operated hip.  It is still going strong.  I started this website in 2005 to help people learn about hip resurfacing.

Thank You.  I did not start or control the hipresurfacingsite.com - that was started by Vicky Marlow and other people run that now.


I started Surfacehippy.info  back in 2005.  She created her site a few years later.


Just setting the record straight. She helped me and encouraged me back in 2005, then we both went our own ways to support hip resurfacing.

Again, thank you for starting and faithfully maintaining this site, it was a lifesaver when I was looking at hip resurfacing almost thirteen years ago.
