Dr. John Keggi Resurfacing

I have been in touch with some of the highly rated and oft-discussed Dr's like Gross, Pritchett, Su, etc., but also looking into John Keggi in Connecticut. In contrast from almost all other US based doctors, who do some version of a posterior approach, Dr. Keggi does an anterior approach for resurfacing similar to a THR anterior - something like a 6/7 inch incision, I believe. Posterior approach incision-wise the only outlier I see is Dr. Gross who does a 'mini-Posterior', something like about 4 inches (and you can see this in a video of his performing the femoral prep and capping piece of his surgery approach).

One objective difference / advantage of anterior vs. posterior is that the 4 external rotating muscles (piriformis, gemellus...) do not get detached and then reattached in the former approach. And, the anterior approach in theory overall just feels (to me) like it ought to be better for recovery overall, with less restrictions earlier on, and over the course of phased recovery, but each surgeon will do and continue to do the approach they have perfected.

In any event, there is very little on this forum regarding patient experiences with Dr Keggi - so, if anyone on here has had a resurface recently and could share their experience that would be greatly appreciated. Particularly, interested in his approach to optimizing acetabular cup placement which it seems like everyone (particularly Dr. Gross) believes is likely the cause of metal debris, metallosis and is almost (if not 100%) always avoided if angling is done correctly.

2. Also, a much less popular and difficult to research option is the Corin mini hip - and while it looks more like a replacement than resurface it preserves more of the neck and has a shorter femoral component than a THR and therefore could optimally load more like the resurfaced hip (at the head) avoiding some of the thigh pain THR recipients complain of (possibly due to loading unnaturally down the femur). Does anyone here have any 1st person experience with the Corin mini?
