OK you 2 I live in the Golf Mecca of the south/east coast so ya'll need to come down here and show me how to play. I even have my own golf cart, although we use it to drive around the neighborhood not a golf course..he he he.. SHARKGIRL/MEISTER can become GOLFGIRL!!!

That's cool that Dr.G is doing a chat. Is this his first one?
I've been limping :'( and not sure if it's because I wore heels yesterday or because of the nasty weather. Maybe a combo of both.

Mike, Your a champ. I remember how well you were moving around and doing your exercises the day after surgery in the hospital. I thought to myself how amazing it was that you were lifitng your leg with ease....Glad you can enjoy flip flops now...Get a pair of Rainbows or Reefs, there a little pricey but ohhh sooo comfy!

Sharkmeister, be careful what you say you might get a couple hundred of us Northern surface hippies invading your house someday when the whether turns white up here.... be careful, us golfing hippies are a pretty crazy bunch.

Yes, it is Dr. Gross's first chat - and I hope not his last.

He is very excited about doing the chat.

I hope we have a nice group of folks in the chat room Tues Night at 7 pm Eastern Time.

I am working on having more doctors do chats.

I am going to the 2nd annual Hip Resurfacing Course in LA on Oct 23 and 24. Many of the really experinced surgeons from all over the world will be there. It will be my chance to talk to them personally and invite them to do some chats.

McMinn, De Smet, Gross, Amstutz, Schmalzreid, Mont, etc etc will all be there. It will be my time to learn and meet the doctors.

You golfers can eat your heart out. Today the opening round of the last TPC tournament was played in Atlanta at historic East Lake Country Club ( Bobby Jone's home course) and that is where yours truly did his daily golf, along with drinking a few beers. What a beautiful day. Last year I would not have dreamed of walking that course.

What do you mean your kidding...I am a pro at beer cart girl!...I haven't hit a mailbox yet..lol
As for a visit, come on down I've got plenty of room and hotels are cheap here in the winter months. It usually doesn't get cold till the end of Decemeber and starts warming up in March..

The first and last time I tired golfing I had a few beers first and when my friends who are avid golfers finally let me try I swung so hard I landed on my bum. 3 holes later and a few beers more I tried again and the same thing..lol.....So Beer Cart Girl I am! :P

Ok... we have our golf cart girl.... couple of cheap hotels, golf clubs and a couple of beers and we have a party!!!

We could do a Dr. Gross bash, get him to come down with Lee have all the Gross hippies and have a huge party.

Hey you are one famous gal Pat ;) You're going to be rubbing elbows with all the big doctors in the hippie business.
