It is often difficult to find an experienced hip resurfacing doctor right in your own area.  Many people travel to be able to use the experienced doctors.  If the doctors below don't meet your needs, you might want to consider contacting Dr. Gross in SC or going overseas to Dr. De Smet in Beligum like I did, or to Dr. Bose in India.  These 3 doctors are among the very best in the whole world.  If you have a more difficult case or are older, you will want an experienced doctor.  Many of the newer doctors often choose to do THRs if the hip resurfacing looks difficult to them.

Doctors like De Smet having done over 2000, Gross over 1100 and Bose over 1000 have a tremendous amount of experience and are willing to tackle the difficult cases
