One day post op

Surgery went well yesterday . Doctor Schmitt said it was definitely bone on bone and I should feel a huge difference. Pt this morning. More later. Thank you for thoughts and prayers

Great news Hoyt, it's all good from here. The next few weeks will test you a bit but improvements will come thik and fast, every day a bit better than the one before.

So weird. When I rolls leg out a little I feel no pain like before. The muscle hurt really bad but that will go away

I'm two weeks post op today and totally blown away at how good my hip feels and how well I'm moving...I'm still sore at times but mostly after PT, but that's going well....you'll be moving around well before you know it!!

Congrats, Hoyt.  Don't let the pain get ahead of you during this first week.  You won't believe how much better you'll be at 2 weeks.

Awesome.  Amazing how there is less pain than before, huh?

Careful when Nurse Ratchet first starts up the PT.  Enjoy the meat loaf and do a few laps on the crutches.  Good job and keep us posted.

I'm glad that you are out of the surgery and are feeling well enough to post. Amazing. I just had all the pre-op items go and I'm going to post a item soon about my experience.

I hate to say it, but it was a great vacation for me.. :)  Enjoy it.   It was great sitting in bed and watching all 6 seasons of Battlestar Gallatica ...    What could be more relaxing then having your food served to you in bed and never having to leave to take a pee??  lol   Ahhhhh the good old days..
