I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone that has contributed to this site.....and especially Pat for her dedication to the developement of resurfacing. This median has been a god sent for me, I'm continuosly reading all posts being made, it has prepared me for all aspects of the process I'm about to endure. I will be doing my best to post my recovery as quick as possible, hoping it will help future surface hippy's. Thanks again and I'll be talking to you all very shortly.

Good luck Eugene, and I second your positive comments about Pat and this site. It helped me, too, and many others. We'll all be pulling for you, and many of us will be reminded of how great we felt after our surgeries. Sure, some potholes in the road, and slower than hoped for recovery at times, but that's a feeling that will stay with me forever -- no more bone-on-bone agony.

Good luck Eugene.  We all share your emotions and are behind you, as we will be on the "other side."  You will be amazed at how much better you feel.  Just be patient and appreciate that you're being given a new chance to walk and function without pain.  Please keep us informed of your progress.  -Jim-

Good luck Eugene, I am 5 weeks out today a feeling pretty good.  I have one more week until my post op Dr. visit and I can get rid of my crutches.

The first week after was the worst for me but that was because I did not do well on the pain meds.  If you don't feel right make sure you Dr. tries different pain meds until you find one that is right for you.  Percoset gave me motion sickness in a wheel chair when they took me to PT.
